Hi, I am Beverly Hendrix. I am a second grade teacher in the LRSD, and this will be my second year teaching this grade. Previously, I have taught first, fourth, and fifth grades. I have been teaching for 14 years.
Most teachers my age are preparing for the T-drop, but I will not able to retire until the legal retirement age. My greatest fear is walking the halls using a walker or a cane.
I know the feeling Bev. I have a long way to go as well! My greatest fear is that I will probably be in a wheelchair before retirement.
ReplyDeleteI have the same fear because I don't have many years accrued and have to work until I'm 62! Maybe we can share that walker!
